Athenasoft is a leading producer of software for the construction industry in Poland. For more than 15 years we have been delivering IT systems intended for cost estimation and supporting investment process management. The most recognizable Athenasoft products are the cost estimation programs Norma (Norma STANDARD, Norma PRO and Norma EXPERT).
So far our customers have purchased about 46,000 of those programs. They are used by individual cost estimators: companies such as Bauholding STRABAG, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., PKP companies, Budimex Dromex, Skanska S.A., ELEKTROBUDOWA S.A., Mostostal, Echo Investment, J.W. Construction, Warta S.A., public sector units and many other entities.
We also offer IT tools to support designing in CAD Drawing and a set of programs for cost estimators named System Athena.
Additionally, we maintain and develop the website www.intercenbud.pl, where we offer access to the largest Polish price database in the construction industry, containing 100,000 prices of materials, equipment operation and labor, a user friendly search engine for goods, manufacturers and suppliers, access to full commercial offers and to a database of cost estimators. More than 200,000 unique visitors per year use the website mainly cost estimators, investors, designers and construction supervisors.
We also publish an electronic quarterly called “Buduj z Głową” (Build Wisely) for 8,000 readers. This publication includes information on amendments to the law, articles regarding leading topics in the construction sector, opinions of cost estimation experts and Norma programs updates.
As part of Athenasoft Academy we have developed training activities. Within the last 4 years we organized about 200 training courses regarding cost estimation in Norma programs and operation of other programs offered by the company namely scheduling, construction company management and FIDIC procedures. The training courses were attended by more than 2,000 persons.
The reliability of Athenasoft and quality of its products were confirmed with numerous awards and distinctions such as gold medals of the International Construction and Architecture Fair BUDMA in the years 2003, 2005 and 2009, awards in the “Fair Play”, “Gazele Biznesu” (Business Gazelles) and “Orły Budownictwa” (Construction Eagles) competitions and many other industrial events. In 2006 Athenasoft joined Microsoft Certified Gold Partners.
